Our organization is currently facing a severe liquidity crisis, a direct consequence of the long-term decline in donations and grants affecting the entire non-profit sector since the 2020 pandemic.
We have never truly recovered from that pandemic, which triggered an initial liquidity crisis in 2021. This first crisis ultimately led to the judicial liquidation of our French sister organization in 2024. At the time, nearly all of our pledged donations and grants were withdrawn in the midst of deep economic instability.
Since 2020, our volunteers have devoted themselves wholeheartedly to continuing our mission—promoting social prudence, fostering safe and positive school environments, and defending the rights of children.
To navigate this new crisis period with resilience, the committee has adopted a series of strong measures:
- The cancellation of all travel, whether local, regional, or international;
- The cancellation of all field activities at every level;
- The launch of a fundraising appeal to public and private entities;
- A request for support from the relevant judicial authorities;
- The implementation of measures to safeguard the legacy of thirteen years of action;
- The settlement of outstanding invoices.
We would like to express our deep gratitude to all the volunteers who have tirelessly committed themselves during these difficult years. Their dedication has allowed our work to continue despite adversity.
We also offer our sincere apologies to any individuals or partners who may be affected by the consequences of this crisis. We are doing everything in our power to mitigate its impact and ensure a dignified and responsible path forward.
